Family Fun Night – May 9!
5:30 – 7:30pm, Saturday, Tankersley Hall
Mexican Fiesta, Cake Walk, Bounce House and BINGO!
It’s tons of fun and there are cash prizes for all BINGO winners! A percentage of proceeds will be going to our sponsored family as a part of our Miracle for Kids outreach. Bring a Mexican main dish or salad for 8 to share. If you can’t attend, consider donating a cake, cupcakes, cookies, etc. for the Cake Walk.

Dinner: $2 per pizza slice or $3 per plate
BINGO: $3 per card or $10 for 4 cards
Forest Home Family Camp
Forest Home Family Camp is a week-long camp where you and your children grow in your relationship with God, spend time together as a family, recharge as a couple, and connect with others from Laguna Presbyterian Church.
Typical Forest Home Schedule
Morning: Breakfast together. The children go to faith growing activities, and the adults attend “Morning Jump Start” for worship, studying the Bible, and hearing from a speaker.
Afternoon: Lunch together. The afternoons are free for family recreation. Forest Home offers activities, such as the lake, the pool, hiking, miniature golf, the climbing wall, the zip line, fishing, the snack bar, the craft cabin, and much more!
Evening: Dinner together apart from a few nights when adults can enjoy dinner separately. Adults have the option of attending the evening meeting and then have free time until 11:00 PM.

Bethlehem Village – Christmas Eve
During the Christmas season, Tankersley Hall is transformed into a Bethlehem Village where the kids enjoy experiencing activities and learning various facts about life during the time of Jesus. Teachers are dressed in period clothes and marketplace booths are set up. Children take part in weaving, spice preparation, games and crafts, tablet writing, and much more.
Events for Parents
Looking to learn more about parenting? At Parents’ Roundtable, we discuss parenting issues, connect with other moms and dads, find encouragement and support, and enjoy some refreshments. Our next Parents’ Roundtable is planned for the spring of 2015, watch the calendar for more information.
MOMS is a weekly Bible study designed to nurture women towards a clearer understanding of their faith and to develop friendships that allow for an open and honest discussion of the issues we face as mothers. Moms of all ages are encouraged to join us. Bring a friend; drop-ins are welcome! We meet on Fridays from 9:30 – 11:30 AM in the Brides’ Room. Childcare is available by reservation and there is a small materials fee. For additional information and to make a childcare reservations contact Caroline Millson.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
Our MOPS+ (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers and Older) group is a special place where you can meet other mothers also passing through this unique stage of life. You’ll have a chance not only to make new friends, but also to discover a wealth of helpful hints and smarter strategies when dealing with the challenges of motherhood. Our program offers a morning of food, fun, creative activities, guest speakers on relevant topics such as parenting, relationships, marriage, and more! Plus attending children are cared for in our quality MOPPETS program! We have a wonderful nursery and amazing care givers who love to hold and rock babies. Toddlers and older have a great time playing and exploring the theme of the day in our spacious newly-built Youth Center.
Our MOPS group meets for 10-11 weeks in the fall and in the spring on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30 AM. Our fall 2014 session begins September 25th. You can register online on our dedicated MOPS website at www.lagunabeachmops.com or contact our leader Michelle Foley
Who Should Come?
Moms who are pregnant or adopting, or moms with infants through elementary-age children. Cost: $95 – mom only, $125 with children. Coordinator: Michelle Foley.

Couples, are you ready to invest in your relationship? For couples of all ages in a married or long-term relationship who would like their relationship to be the best it can be. Dessert will be served each week at your table for 2 while you watch practical and fun DVD clips and then have time to discuss privately together as a couple.
