3rd Friday

3rd Friday is a fellowship for adults of all ages, single and married. This fellowship is designed to make our large church community feel a bit smaller so you can feel at home.  Whether you’ve been coming to LPC since it was founded or just found your way here…..welcome home!

You are invited – every 3rd Friday from September to June!

We gather at 6PM for relaxed potlucks or catered dinners in Tankersley Hall. This is a great place to make friends in a casual social setting, to enjoy great bands, to be informed by special speakers, or be entertained by gifted guests.

6pm – Friday – September 21 –  Tankersley Hall

Special Guest: Rob Verdi of “Saxophobia”

SaxophobiaLike baseball and apple pie, jazz is an American icon. Come hear some of the hits that made this instrument such a piece of our musical history. Rob was the Artistic Director for “Side Street Strutters,” the house band at Disneyland for 22 years, and he still performs regularly at the Disneyland Resort. Saxophobia brings to the stage a rare and unique glimpse at some of the most unusual saxophones ever manufactured and the classic melodies that popularize this instrument. Everyone is invited!

Dinner: $10 plus a potluck dish to share with the group
