By God’s grace, we desire to be a caring reminder of God’s presence in painful seasons of life as well as in the midst of great joy. We provide support to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill and others facing a crisis or life challenge. Our pastors, deacons, and grief team are available to walk with you through the trials and joys on the journey of life.
Our team of 35 ordained deacons seeks to connect you with our church family and to provide support and help in times of need, such as a new birth, aging, illness, or the death of a loved one. We are here to demonstrate God’s love in practical care. For a list of deacons by parish CLICK HERE. Do you have a question regarding your parish? Please contact the Church Office at 949-494-7555.
LPC’s Parish Nurses educate and help care for the physical, mental and spiritual needs of our congregation. We are partially enabled through the gracious support of our Deacons and Hoag Hospital. Parish Nurses provide monthly Blood Pressure Checks, Flu Shots, Skin-Cancer Screening, Red Cross Blood Drives, monthly health-related articles, and health-related programs throughout the year.

Grief Support Group
When you have lost a loved one through death, where can you talk about and explore your journey of grief? Our 8 week class offers comfort and hope while equipping you with practical steps for recovery from grief. Led by a licensed therapist and support team, we offer this group class annually each spring. There is a materials fee. Community members as well as members of the church are welcome.
Laguna Presbyterian Church prayer chain participants pray for the needs of those who make specific prayer requests. These confidential requests may be submitted on the cards found in the sanctuary pews and placed in the Sunday service offering plates, or by phoning the prayer chain coordinator. These requests are then sent on by email to members of our prayer chain.
