COMFORT KNITTERS – Monthly, 1st and 4th Friday
This is a wonderful way to combine your faith with knitting. Knitters of all skill levels meet in a local home on the 1st and 4th Friday of each month to work on squares to be combined into an afghan for those suffering an illness or recent loss. Shawls enfold, give solace, shelter, and beautify. Those who have received these shawls have been uplifted and affirmed. We are happy to teach you to knit!
GALS – Monthly, Sunday Evenings
GALS is a caring and fun community for widows of all ages. We meet on the second Sunday evening of every month for dinner, conversation, and support.
