Annual Events for Children

All of our Annual Events for Children are open to everyone, join us!

Open to all children from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. The Children’s Choir learns to read simple rhythms and musical lines, sings, and plays musical games. The children’s choir sings occasionally in Sunday worship and presents an Easter and Christmas musical. Our choral director, Linda White, works with our Sunday school kids each Sunday from 10:45-11:15AM.

Contact Linda White for more information.

Every spring we honor our 3rd Grade Sunday School Class for their years of Sunday School attendance with a formal Bible presentation. The class sings the “Books of the Bible” song, as well as reciting The Lord’s Prayer with the congregation. They then receive their Bible, with a special dedication from our Pastors. Following this presentation they will enjoy a special brunch together while making memory books.

If you have a child in 3rd Grade, we hope you will be able to participate in this special Sunday presentation and celebration.

First Communion StudentsEach October as part of our celebration of World Communion Sunday, our first communion class joins their fellow members of the body of Christ in coming to the Lord’s Table. The children receive instruction through pastor visits and lessons about the meaning and significance of communion.

July 15 – 19, 2019

Laguna Presbyterian Church’s largest and oldest outreach event for children!

This annual event includes five days of themed high-energy fun and games with a strong Bible-based focus. The week is capped off with the very popular VBS Carnival Sunday. Lots of volunteers are needed to make this an amazing event!

July 8 – 12, 2019

Club H20 is an exciting week-long day camp led by Pastor Steve Sweet and high school student leaders. Students spend the week surfing, kayaking, swimming and playing games while learning about God. We worship as a community and grow in our friendships.

Every morning at 9am, we begin with music and games, then spend time exploring the Scriptures through talks and small groups. Then, we’re off to the beach for crafts, games, food, kayaking, surfing and lunch. We return to the church parking lot at 2PM in the afternoon for pick up.

The camp is open to all 3rd – 5th graders.

Our Children’s Ministries staff is here to answer questions. Contact them,  they would love to heard from you!
