Preschool Corner

Fall has kept us all busy, from School pictures to meaningful Chapel Time! Our Extended-Day Enrichment Programs have started and have been received. In November our classrooms fill with reminders of the first Thanksgiving and Native Americans.

Chapel time in November will emphasize our World Vision Children and thankfulness. The Southern California Screening Unit will be here on Wednesday, Nov. 5th and Thursday, Nov. 6th.

During December, we decorate with reminders of the true meaning of Christmas and the idea of “Giving versus Receiving”.
We work to keep it simple! Thursday, December 17 & Friday, December 18 at 11am, school closes with our traditional Christmas Program in the sanctuary. On those two days, there will be no extended-day and school closes at noon on Friday, December 18. We re-open Monday, January 4, 2010.

As the year ends, if you find you would like to donate to worthy causes, here are ways to support us:

  • The Pat Drew Scholarship fund

  • Campbell’s Soup labels

  • Cell phone & ink cartridge recycling

  • “Paint Your Own” ceramic tiles for Preschool wall

May you all have a peaceful and thankful holiday season. Do visit our classrooms, and remember:
