Sunday School LPCOur Sunday school program provides a safe and caring environment where your child will feel welcomed, learn about God and experience His love. Our goal is to partner with parents in leading our children into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Using the Dig In curriculum from Group, we follow the arc of the biblical narrative. Kids of all ages interact with the Bible in every lesson. Each Sunday children will walk away retelling the stories they’ve learned and take home completed activities to share with their family.

Head over to The FAQ’s Page for more information on what children learn at each grade or for information on baptism, communion or confirmation.

What is our Sunday school like for your child or children?

Sunday SchoolExciting! Children spend time in a traditional classroom setting as well as experience fun high-energy large group gatherings in Tankersley Hall. No matter where they are, students are introduced to “Big Ideas” from the Old and New Testament stories. Bible verse memorization is encouraged and students pray for each other and their leaders. We cover all the major stories of the Old and New Testament by the time a child has graduated from Sunday school.

At least once a month children preK-5th grade are invited to worship with their parents for the beginning of the service after which they are excused to Sunday school. We have found students enjoy the different experiences and have made new friends of all ages!

And that’s not all. Be sure to check out all the events and parent programs that happen throughout the year. We learn, have fun, laugh and create community.
