LPC Story Time for Children
Laguna Presbyterian Church offers encouragement to the little ones who need some entertainment during this difficult time of isolation. We have a collection of story time videos with our congregation members and friends reading favorite children’s stories. The children can choose their stories and watch them at any time. These stories are now showcased on the Laguna Presbyterian Vimeo site.

Join the Choir!
Choir Director Linda White has found ways to keep the choir singing, making the social distance seem a little closer. Weekly rehearsals via Zoom give everyone a chance to say hello and connect with friends before the singing begins. You are invited to join them at 7 p.m. Thursday. Music tracks are provided so that you can sing in safety and modesty from your own home. Send an email to Linda to receive a return email with materials and a Zoom invitation.

LUNCHES FOR THE HOMELESS
Laguna Presbyterian’s Mission Outreach Committee has provided lunches for the homeless on weekdays during the COVID-19 crisis. The homeless are missing much of the food they used to depend on – from restaurant leftovers, the shelter’s now-closed day program, or the walk-in program at the food pantry (now a drive-through). Volunteers are needed to provide 12 sack lunches – typically a sandwich or other nutritious main dish, a snack, and some fruit – dropped off one morning a week to collection points either at Main Beach or in South Laguna. This is a great task for two people to share; assistance is especially needed on Thursdays and Fridays. If you can help either every week or as back-up for other volunteers, please contact Cindy Campbell at 949-683-7220.
